The position of FLEET COORDINATOR – PROJECTS will utilize internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects within the fleet department. This position will mainly consist of licensing and registration projects but will extend to other fleet-related areas as deemed necessary by fleet management. Primary objectives will include completing the licensing/titling of all trailers and towable fleet to ensure compliance with applicable state laws and regulations to promote rental-readiness of equipment.



  • Coordinates registration of any equipment and trailers that fall within the Colorado Small Mobile Machinery (SMM) regulations and completes yearly renewals
  • Liaison between the corporate office, field team, and the Colorado county DMV offices to obtain full compliance will the Small Mobile Machinery program
  • Works to accomplish expedient processing of license plate and title work including preparation of large volumes of paperwork for drop-off and pick-up, and filing new titles and registrations promptly and accurately
  • Secures titles for fleet disposals as needed and sends to appropriate auction site in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Work with the team on various tasks to keep project going according to schedule
  • Communicate to the management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Close project and documentation, pass project deliverables to appropriate operational areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or higher / or equivalent work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work
  • Excellent communication skills, including: influencing, reporting, and relationship building skills in internal and external environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite with medium proficiency with Power Point, Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record



This position potentially works both indoors and outdoors during the workday. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be done by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

An employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneeling, pushing and pulling for limited time periods, in addition to repetitive movements of hands, occasional lifting of up to (25) lbs.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
